Jude-Marie Green spent 2008/2009 criss-crossing the United States via Amtrak and Greyhound, fighting poison ivy on Long Island and pennies in New Orleans. When she's bored she designs tie-dyed socks for friends and family and indulges in photographic/tie-dye artistic mashups. Her lifestyle as an unemployed beach bum allows time for writing, editing, and convention-attending.

Online appearances this year include two editorials (10Flash re: the emerging art of flash fiction and Abyss&Apex re: the 40th anniversary of the lunar landing) and several short stories. She lives in Santa Ana, California surrounded by citrus groves and pomegranate bushes.
